Current Opportunities

  • Certified Arborists

    Certified Arborists are responsible for upholding industry and environmental standards, providing honest recommendations, overseeing production crews, and conducting property assessments to preserve the health of trees across an assigned territory.

    Responsibilities:
    • Build client relationships and communicate promptly to resolve problems.
    • Manage and meet sales goals within a defined territory.
    • Prepare and present proposals.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Provide team leadership, project oversight, and quality control of work performed.
    • Offer training and mentorship to team members.
    • Participate in networking events and special projects as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • ISA Certified Arborist certification.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • Willingness to obtain necessary training and certifications.
    • Ability to identify trees and shrubs, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
    • Basic computer and smartphone skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
    • Sales experience, preferably in the tree care or landscaping industry.
    • Experience in fieldwork (tree climbing, ground crew, etc.).
    • Ability to conduct site assessments.
  • Crew Leader

    Crew Leaders oversee daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency. They utilize climbing techniques and bucket trucks for production, while also managing client communication and expectations. Additional responsibilities include driving company vehicles, maintaining records, and upholding company standards.

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform pruning, trimming, and removal of trees and limbs.
    • Responsible for daily production requirements of assigned crews.
    • Ensure necessary permissions for crews to begin work.
    • Complete accurate record-keeping and daily reporting.
    • Cooperate and communicate with the administrative team and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Drive to client properties.
    • Provide team leadership, project oversight, and quality control.
    • Offer training and mentorship to crew members.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
    • Tree knowledge, including identification, growth habits, and arboriculture techniques.
    • Willingness to obtain necessary training and certifications.
    • Bucket truck operation preferred.
    • Skilled in equipment operation (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
    • Policy enforcement and adherence to company standards.
    • Experience in fieldwork (tree climbing, ground crew, etc.).
    • Familiarity with industry equipment.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
    • Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
    • Knowledge of local regulations.
    • Participation in industry organizations and continuing education.
  • Equipment Operator

    Equipment Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery to support tree removals and debris management while ensuring efficiency and safety. This role involves working closely with crew members to complete projects on time and according to industry standards.

    Responsibilities:
    • Operate skid steers, loaders, bucket trucks, and stump grinders for tree care operations.
    • Assist with tree removal, stump grinding, and debris management.
    • Transport and position equipment safely on job sites.
    • Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Support ground crews with chipping, hauling, and cleanup as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
    • Maintain accurate equipment logs and report any mechanical issues.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (CDL preferred).
    • Experience operating skid steers, loaders, bucket trucks, and stump grinders.
    • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to safely load, unload, and transport heavy machinery.
    • Knowledge of tree care operations and best practices.
    • Willingness to obtain necessary training and certifications.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
    • Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
    • Strong awareness of job site safety and risk management.
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
  • Plant Health Care Specialist

    Plant Health Care Specialists are responsible for diagnosing, treating, and maintaining the health of trees and landscapes. They apply industry best practices using specialized equipment and treatment methods. The role includes client communication, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assess tree and plant health, diagnosing pest, disease, and environmental stress issues.
    • Apply treatments, including fertilization, soil amendments, and pest/disease management solutions.
    • Perform routine inspections and proactive care to maintain plant health.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
    • Complete accurate record-keeping and reporting of treatments and observations.
    • Communicate with clients and administrative teams regarding plant care needs and recommendations.
    • Operate and maintain plant health care equipment (sprayers, soil injectors, etc.).
    • Drive to client properties and conduct on-site evaluations and treatments.
    • Provide education and recommendations for clients on proper plant care.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
    • Knowledge of tree and plant identification, common diseases, pests, and treatment options.
    • Experience in plant health care techniques, including soil and root care.
    • Familiarity with application equipment (sprayers, injectors, spreaders).
    • Strong attention to detail for diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
    • Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
    • Knowledge of local environmental regulations and best practices.
    • Commercial applicator's license, or willingness to obtain.
    • ISA Certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Tree Climber

    Tree Climbers are responsible for performing tree pruning, removal, and maintenance while ensuring safety and efficiency. They utilize climbing techniques, aerial lifts, and specialized industry equipment to complete daily tasks. The role also includes teamwork, communication, adherence to safety standards, and equipment maintenance.

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal using proper arboricultural techniques.
    • Operate and maintain chainsaws, rigging equipment, and aerial lifts.
    • Ensure worksite safety and adherence to industry best practices.
    • Assist with ground operations, including chipping brush and debris cleanup.
    • Communicate with crew members and clients to ensure job expectations are met.
    • Conduct pre-job site assessments to determine the best approach for tree work.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Drive to client properties and assist in equipment setup.
    • Participate in training and continuing education.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
    • Proficiency in tree climbing techniques (DdRT, SRT, and aerial rescue preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and structural integrity.
    • Skilled in equipment operation (chainsaws, rigging gear, aerial lifts, chippers).
    • Willingness to obtain necessary training and certifications.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
    • Willingness to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
    • Strong awareness of safety protocols and risk management.
    • Knowledge of local regulations and industry best practices.
    • Certification (ISA Certified Arborist or Tree Worker) is a plus.
